Update:  The proof-of-concept that was built was a success with the base.  Because of reasons outside of my control I was not able to further build the application but it has evolved into a more encompassing tool for the base to use.

Developed at the end of 2014 was a new application to provide weather impacts to flights around Lakenheath, England.  This custom application gives users easy access to published information on their Android phones and Tablets so they can plan their flights while away from the office.  The information is saved locally to their devices so if they are away from a network connection they can still view the most recently downloaded charts.
